The Hearth

The Hearth is a community of givers who are making an equitable and just Indigenous future a part of their lasting legacy. By planning a future gift to The Woape Foundation, members of The Hearth help ensure that our work will continue until every Native person in the Americas sees their sovereignty and dignity restored and respected—in a sustainable and empowered way.

Joining The Hearth is one of the most powerful actions you can take to help end centuries of cultural genocide against Native peoples and build an Indigenous future for all. A legacy commitment is an investment in transparent, sustainable work that will directly impact some of the world’s most vulnerable populations and transform the future for generations to come.

Bequest Policy

It is the general policy of The Woape Foundation that all gifts shall be presumed to be for all charitable purposes (i.e. unrestricted) unless there is an explicit restriction. This allows the organization to apply the funds to the most pressing needs at the time of funding. The Woape Foundation gift acceptance policy can be found here.
